SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert E. Mueller of Silvis, who passed
4away on November 11, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Mueller was born in Wever, Iowa to Robert
6Sr. and Elsie Lang Mueller on December 26, 1925; he served in
7the United States Navy during World War II; he married Martha
8L. Hasenclever on August 1, 1945; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Mueller worked on barges on the Mississippi
10River after serving his country; he later retired from AT&T
11after 30 years of service; after retirement, he helped his son
12build houses; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Mueller enjoyed golfing and was a past
14member of the Geneseo Country Club; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Mueller was preceded in death by his
16parents; his wife, Martha; and his brother, Howard; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Mueller is survived by his children,
18Kathleen (Gerald) Schmidt and David (Jean) Mueller; his
19grandchildren, Andrew, Jared, and Jonathan Schmidt and Temple
20Miller; and his great-grandchildren, Abigail and Emily

1Coakley; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Robert E. Mueller and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Robert Mueller as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
