SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Martin F. Zahnle, who passed away on
4October 16, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Martin Zahnle was born to A. Norman and Margaret
6(Sullivan) Zahnle and served in the U.S. Air Force; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Martin Zahnle retired from the Glencoe Post
8Office; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Martin Zahnle was a kind and generous man who
10always opened his home to family members in need; he was a
11faithful parishioner of Saint Mary of Vernon Parish; he was his
12extended family's official photographer and greatly enjoyed
13capturing family celebrations; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Martin Zahnle was preceded in death by his
15parents; his sisters, Maureen Ugolini and Carol Cowles; his
16niece, Deborah Satchwell; and his mother-in-law, Marjorie N.
17Kiernan; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Martin Zahnle is survived by his wife, Marie
19(Kiernan); his brothers, Daniel and Richard (Sharon); his
20brother-in-law, Dominick Ugolini; his goddaughters, Jean

3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Martin F. Zahnle and extend our sincere condolences to his
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Martin Zahnle as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
