SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Anthony "Tony" Wells of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on February 9, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tony Wells was born in Woodstock to Marvin and
6Irene Naslund Wells on November 7, 1942; he graduated from
7Crystal Lake Community High School in 1961; he served his
8country as a jet mechanic in the United States Air Force and
9was stationed in Texas and then France; and
 
10    WHEREAS, After his time in the Air Force, Tony Wells went
11to California and was hired as an airline mechanic by United
12Airlines; he worked at United in San Francisco for 20 years;
13while in California, he married Ann Foster in Los Altos in
141968; they moved to Chicago, and he continued to work for
15United for nearly 20 more years; he retired in 2005; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Tony Wells spent his retirement years helping and
17mentoring others; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Tony Wells was preceded in death by his parents;
19his son, Matthew; and his brother, Jim; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Tony Wells is survived by his wife, Ann; his

1daughter, Jennifer (Joaquin) Camacho; his son, Jeremy (Erik
2Wagner) Wells; his grandsons, Joaquin, Nick, and AJ Camacho;
3his sister, Janet (Craig) Narowetz; and his nieces and nephews;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Anthony "Tony" Wells and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Tony Wells as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
