SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of James M. Juska D.C. of Spring Grove, who
4passed away on November 27, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dr. Juska was born in Chicago to Charles J. and
6Irene (Bernacki) Juska on August 2, 1950; he graduated from
7Prosser High School in Chicago, attended Wright Junior College,
8and received his Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois
9University; he served in the United States Army and married Ann
10Rachal on August 14, 1976; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Dr. Juska graduated from the National
12Chiropractic College in Naperville and received his license in
131977; he located his practice in Antioch; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Dr. Juska was a loving husband, father, and doting
15grandpa; he loved to fish in Fox Lake, Lake Michigan, and
16Louisiana; he enjoyed cooking and was the chef of the family;
17he always prepared the holiday meals and claimed exclusive
18rights to the kitchen when preparing all the dishes; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Dr. Juska was preceded in death by his parents and
20his brother, John Juska; and

1    WHEREAS, Dr. Juska is survived by his wife of 41 years,
2Ann; his children, James (Teri) Juska Jr., Melissa (Josh) Gish,
3and Jessica (Ryan) Tipton; his grandchildren, Harper,
4Harrison, Josiah, Abigail, and Kaiden; his siblings, Charles
5(JoAnne) Juska, Joseph (Jill) Juska, Laurene (the late Frank)
6Mandala, and Kathleen (the late Norm) Carli; his sister-in-law,
7Mary Juska; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10James M. Juska D.C., and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Dr. Juska as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
